The hotel is located in a 14th-century building in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town. It stands at the foot of Hohensalzburg Fortress, on the famous shopping street Getreidegasse, across from the Festival Palace, and just a few steps from Mozart’s birthplace.

Surrounded by medieval walls and featuring a Mediterranean-style summer garden, this hotel also includes a specialized restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine and Salzburg specialties. Known for its excellent music, the Arthotel Blaue Gans has its own private garden and boasts a large wine cellar.

Client’s needs

The managers of this hotel, the oldest in the city, were looking for furnishings that could blend seamlessly in the unique context that combines historical atmosphere, modern design, and contemporary art. In fact, throughout the entire facility, more than 100 original works of art are displayed. A true 4-star boutique hotel, where every detail makes a difference.

Product choice

For the bathroom furnishings, an extremely minimalist wall-hung vanity unit with a cylindrical countertop basin was chosen, along with a wall-mounted mixer featuring a spout and control lever.

In the shower area, a round ceiling-mounted shower head and two built-in shower mixers allow separate control of the shower head and hand shower.
