The hotel

The Hotel Giorgione is one of the most romantic hotels in Venice and is located in the most authentic and lively hearts of the city, the Cannaregio neighbourhood, a short distance from the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s square. This historical and quiet building is equipped with several facilities, including an ancient internal courtyard with an emotional swimming-pool. An easy stroll of only 10 minutes along calli and campielli will lead you to the heart of shopping with elegant and traditional shops. As you continue walking, you will be immersed in the wonderful atmosphere of a one-of-a-kind scenario: St. Mark’s Basilica and the Ducal Palace.

The client’s needs

Inside an 18th century building decorated in a classic style, the hotel is furnished with historical pieces of furniture and other Venetian pieces. Glamor, history, tradition and Venetian hospitality are visible in the elegant rooms, suites and apartments furnished with precious fabrics, chandeliers made of Murano glass and historic pieces of furniture combined with modern facilities. Among the latter, the interior designers were looking for classic style taps that were still technologically updated and long lasting.

Melrose 20 and Melrose 22

Melrose 22 taps and mixers by Fir Italia were installed in the hotel bathrooms, whose smooth shapes perfectly match the other pieces in the suites and bedrooms as well as the materials, from the marble used in several floors, coverings and columns to the fabrics and curtains in the classic Venetian style.
