The owners of this apartment live abroad, but when they return to their home country, they have the pleasure of staying in their first home as a married couple. Their emotional connection to the place is so strong that when they decided to renovate it, they opted for a subtle approach that would not erase some of its original features. The result was a modernization of the spaces with only minor changes to the layout. This primarily involved replacing all the plumbing and finishings. The herringbone parquet flooring brought elegance to the rooms, while the mirrored window frames increased the amount of natural light and the connection with the large terrace and surrounding garden.

The bathroom

The new bathroom is very spacious and bright. The wooden vanity in the sink area is custom-made: beneath a large mirror, a marble countertop with a double integrated sink features two matching Sweet 46 countertop mixers by Fir Italia.

The shower area features a walk-in shower stall and a shower mixer with a diverter that controls the wall-mounted shower head and hand shower.

Sweet 46 mixers are characterized by their modern, transversal lines and the flat, rectangular spout, integrated into the cylindrical body, a design element that makes them unique.
