This renovation project came about by regularly and fruitfully exchanging ideas between the architect Luigi Longo and the clients, a young couple whose dream of buying their first home had come true. The flat has a very irregular layout and is located in the bustling district of Torpignattara in Rome. Initially, the idea was to exploit the fact that the living/kitchen area overlooks the remains of an ancient Roman aqueduct, just opposite the building, which makes it an attractive feature. This idea was central to the whole design: the original layout was significantly changed so that the kitchen could be moved to the opposite side of the flat, and another bathroom was also added. The living room features a plasterboard partition wall with a built-in gas fireplace and TV area. The lights and false ceilings help to separate the various areas of this spacious open-plan room.

The stylistic design of the Cleo 84 line, with the harmonious roundness that has always distinguished it, has been revisited with a modern look. The cylindrical, smooth and proportionate shapes of the body and spout, together with the simplicity of the lever, create a tap with a fresh, minimalist concept that is ideal in contemporary settings
