The hotel

The Unahotels Naxos Beach Sicilia is a large beach-side complex in Giardini Naxos, one of the most beautiful and famous seaside resorts on the east coast of Sicily. It has a private beach, a tennis court, a fitness centre and four swimming pools, one of which is an Olympic-size pool.

Surrounded by lush vegetation of olive trees, citrus groves and all kinds of flowers, the hotel is a true oasis of peace and tranquillity, just over 30 miles from Catania airport.

Customer’s needs

The complex is made up on 189 hotel rooms and 453 rooms in villas, distributed along tree-lined avenues and in green areas very close to the beach. The hotel rooms are distributed over four floors, and are divided into classic, executive and deluxe. For the bathrooms, those managing the restoration and interior design were looking for a style of taps that reflected the neoclassical atmosphere created by some of the furnishing elements.

Déco 87

They chose the taps in the Déco 87 collection by Fir Italia, characterised by a design that evokes the neoclassical period, with a pleasing combination of curved lines and simplicity. They selected a chrome finishing due to the need for a material that is easy to clean and durable.

Choice of product

The Déco 87 wall-mounted built-in mixer with a plate was installed above a ceramic washbasin with flowing lines. A single-lever bidet mixer was chosen from the same collection, while in the shower the shower configuration includes a wall-mounted shower head, a hand shower and a built-in shower mixer. A wide range of aesthetically coordinated bathroom accessories with a chrome finishing were also supplied.
